Hi, My name is Kelly and I’m one of the PGA Professional Coaches based at Broadstone Golf Club in Dorset.
Welcome to my website where my goal is to share some of the opportunities available for you to learn to play golf with me as your coach.
I’ve been playing golf since I was 10 years old and worked in golf development before changing direction to become a fully qualified PGA Instructor.
I love the game of golf and hope that I am able to share my passion with you as you take either your tentative first steps to playing or challenging yourself to improve your game.
Share My Passion
I have a real passion for the game and get great enjoyment from my pupils achieving their aspirations. Throughout my experience being involved with various national and county training programs I have gained invaluable insight into the mechanics of the golf swing and all aspects of what makes a successful coach and player.
I am a firm believer that if you get the basics of the golf swing right then anything can be built from there.
Lessons For All
I offer individual, shared and group golf lessons for men, women and juniors and for all playing abilities, from the complete beginner to single-figure handicap players wanting to take their game to the next level.
Everyone learns differently; hence, I adapt my teaching style to ensure that you get the most out of each session. In individual lessons, video analysis plays an essential part in my coaching as does providing you with drills for you to practice between lessons.
At Broadstone I’m responsible for delivering children’s golf lessons via the Junior Coaching Academy and am actively involved in Schools’ Golf programs, taking the Tri-Golf program into Primary Schools in the Dorset area.
In addition, I’m proud to be one of only two coaches in the southwest of England who are associated with Love.golf, an exciting program that teaches women to play golf out on the golf course.

Fred takes 1-1 lessons with Kelly as this is better suited to him. Kelly is patient, takes great care to provide guidance and is also firm to keep Fred focusing on his lesson and enjoyment of the sport!
I truly hope Fred continues with his golf and will be always thankful to Kelly for starting him off so positively.
Practice is mostly off grass, not artificial mats and when the weather is really awful we have benefited from the use of an indoor ‘state of the art’ studio.
I have had lessons at other golfing venues in the BCP area, but Kellys at Broadstone, one of Dorsets finest courses, are my favourite.
There is also the added bonus of coffee and a friendly chat after the lesson if you have time.
Kelly has been patient throughout; she breaks everything down in a way that makes it so easy to understand and then take away and practice and most importantly she makes all the sessions fun and enjoyable. It’s great to have a coach you can have a laugh with. Could not recommend Kelly enough, whether you’re looking to get into the sport or been playing for years and looking to iron out the kinks in your game.
She is very enthusiastic and really makes all golf lessons fun .
She is patient and a highly gifted and effective teacher .

Kelly has made golf fun again! We have both thoroughly enjoyed our lessons with Kelly and we have both seen great improvement in a short space of time!
